I highly recommend you check it out. She great. More than anyone else I know she can laugh at herself when necessary and can be introspective when required. It will be fun to see her creative journey unfold on the blogosphere.

Forget the fiction! Embrace the Blog until the right thoughts motivate you. Then ask yourself "WHAT IS THE WORST THING THAT COULD HAPPEN IF I JUST GIVE IT A SHOT?" This was said to me by a woman surgeon ,before women surgeons were commonplace. Practice on your blogs. I see Mari as the next Erma Bombeck ( a writer probably before EVERYONES time ) and you as someone very readable and REAL. Your life is interesting enough without having to create fiction. Write on and they will read.

Her column was read aloud at our breakfast table on Sun mornings. It came in a special weekend addition of the Sunday Oklahoman. And I agree with you about Mari...the humor in her storytelling in much like Erma's...Maybe we should encourage her to start her own newspaper column...People do still read the paper...right?
